The Roles of Young Life Leaders

This volunteer is typically an experienced Young Life Leader who has takes leadership over the High School Team and helps ensure leaders are feeling supported in their Young Life work.
This person will communicate and coordinator among Young Life Leaders when club and leader meetings are happening. They will take leadership over these team meetings, as well as give direction and facilitate the execution of weekly clubs.They will be responsible to communicate with the parents of Young Life kids. Team leaders will also have a planning meeting with the Area Director every other week.

These adult volunteers would be leading students who are primarily from Parkland and area private/public schools.

This volunteer is typically an experienced WyldLife Leader who has taken leadership over the WyldLife Team and helps ensure leaders are feeling supported in their Young Life work.
This person will communicate and coordinate among WyldLife Leaders when club and leader meetings are happening. They will take leadership over these team meetings, as well as give direction and facilitate the execution of weekly clubs.They will be responsible to communicate with the parents of WyldLife junior high kids. Team leaders will also have a planning meeting with the Area Director every other week.

These are volunteers who are still completing High School who show a desire to be a leader to kids who are younger than them.
Junior Leaders may have the opportunity to gain volunteer hours for high school requirements (this is dependent on your school’s guidelines) while they experience the wonderful perks of being a leader!

This volunteer helps set up, execute and tear down our Young Life and WyldLife clubs. While leaders are focusing on the teens who have arrived at Club, the club helpers set up snacks, get ready for our games or events, and help with song leading and other various components of Club.

Volunteers would work one-on-one with teenagers with special needs or disabilities and ensure they feel welcome and comfortable at Young Life Club or during hang outs.
